I love this story. Thank you. It could just as easily have been a rabbi or a shaman who, in a single question, escorted your grandfather out of bitterness into the reconciliation that allowed him to die in peace.
Yes, and many a time, it has been a rabbi or a shaman (or a Sister of Mercy or a Buddhist monk or an end-of-life coach ) that has helped a dying person to forgive.
